INTRODUCTION

SERIC'S MISSION

SERIC was established in 1981 by Christian Polak. Its mission is to:

  • promote and develop the interests of European businesses in Japan and throughout Asia (particularly in Korea and China);
  • establish commercial, industrial and technological cooperation between European and Asian companies, in the Asian, European, African and North American markets.

SERIC'S KNOW-HOW

SERIC offers European companies and organizations:

  • a thorough understanding of the Japanese and Korean economies as well as of the local business and cultural environments;
  • a permanent team of multilingual consultants in Japan and Korea;
  • sales support for short and long term projects on these markets.

SERIC'S NETWORK

To ensure the successful implementation of its clients' strategy, SERIC maintains an extensive network of close contacts at the highest level among:

  • top management of Japanese firms;
  • industry leaders in Asia and Europe;
  • the Japanese and Korean administration, such as: Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Construction, etc.
